Couple Therapy
A couple can find themselves stuck in a difficult or painful situation that they are trying to resolve. Often the problem relates to their communication or expressed values and goals.
When they are with someone who listens, who understands, who has their best interests at heart, and whose feedback is informed and impartial, the couple is able to better understand their communication and, in turn, one another’s possible wounds, needs, values, or goals.
With continued support, guidance, and encouragement, the couple explore new ways of communicating and, through a process of open, genuine, caring discussion, come to see their relationship or the situation more clearly so that they can deal with it more satisfactorily.
Afterwards, when the couple has resolved or managed the situation, it is time for them to bid farewell to their confidant and guide, their therapist, as they continue their relationship journey.
