Dr Phipps never fails to transform your frame of reference and expand your repertoire as a psychotherapist. It was truly valuable to be able to label variables that one might “feel” in conducting couple therapy, and to identify what those variables are, and why they matter. This course has provided me with such insight into the landscape of couple therapy from an interactional (integrative) approach and I will always be grateful for the experience. I look forward to another wonderful course (part II )!

The workshop assisted me to broaden my frame and understanding in interactional therapy. I feel mobilised to work with couples, and that I have more clarity on it process. I enjoyed the experiential element.

Deeply meaningful training. Exceptional depth & detail whilst maintaining practical application and individualised feedback. I leave feeling mobilized with practical improvements in my skills that can be implemented from my very next therapy session.

I found this CPD workshop extremely meaningful. It has contributed and expanded my knowledge base, in a profound way. It is such a critical and often neglected training model, working with couples, and this training has highlighted the importance of including it with greater emphasis in our Masters training. Thank you, Warwick. I will definitely be back to hone my skills.

The ICT training has been a gift. The richness of the theory and the depth of the teaching was invaluable. I am so grateful for the experiential learning and tools that I have learnt in assisting couples in communicating more effectively.

The level I training has been extremely valuable in terms of facilitating an understanding of the underlying framework, while also providing exposure to the practical implication thereof. Having said that, I do get the sense that there is so much richness to this approach and that this level I is merely an introduction. There is still so much learning to be done that I look forward to immersing myself in subsequent levels.

The interactional couple therapy training was deeply meaningful. The facilitator Dr Phipps, delivered with such great skill, knowledge, gentleness and consideration for each & every person in the group. I feel equipped with more practical, tools & skills to conduct couples therapy and navigate the challenges that this advanced and difficult type of psychotherapy brings to the practitioner & to the therapy room.

The course was structured, in an appropriate manner, giving an understanding of theoretical background first, then practical. The presenter Dr Phipps showed a good knowledge of the subjected field.
Gave valuable inputs. It was very empowering.
Thank you.

Having had exposure to the IPA at master’s level, it was good to revisit this diagnostic tool. This time punctuating from couples’ therapy. The course was informative as it was enriching. The facilitator was very generous with his time and knowledge. He was also experienced and extremely patient with the questions and endeavoured to answer each individual with constructive and helpful responses and feedback – so glad I made the course.

Each time I attend a workshop presented by Dr Warwick Phipps my knowledge base grows & the ability to not just learn but feel equipped to utilize the skills learnt in my work as a psychologist is both empowering & priceless. Couple therapy is so complex, Warwick makes this process tangible & the role of a psychotherapist in couples therapy so clear. Workshops here make me want to come back for more! See you in 2025!

Anyone that works with couples will deeply benefit from attending the interactional couple training with Dr Phipps. He is an amazing trainer that creates safety in the group & is able to relay complex & intricate processes in a manner that is understandable & can be put into practice. The training allows you to see and work with a unit in a way that assists them in mutually benefitting and actualising, and to communicate effectively.

Thank you – The teaching was clear & experiential. Warwick is a patient teacher & diligently giving feedback after each technical session in order to clear queries and listen to insights. ICT is an exciting modality, especially as it integrates person centered and systems theory. I am excited to allow the training process to settle and become meaningful and then apply in my practice.
