Individual Therapy one on one

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is an opportunity to talk to someone who listens, who understands, who has our best interests at heart, and whose feedback is both informed and independent, so that we can better understand our own goals, any problems we may be facing, and their root causes. Based on this insight, we can explore possible solutions and, with the continued support, guidance, and encouragement of the therapist, successfully resolve the problem.

Couple Therapy

Couple Therapy

Often the problem for a couple relates to their communication or expressed values and goals. However, when they are with someone who listens, who understands, who has their best interests at heart, and whose feedback is informed and impartial, the couple is able to better understand their communication and, in turn, one another’s possible hurts, needs, values, or goals. With the continued support, guidance, and encouragement of the therapist, the couple explore new ways of communicating and, through a process of open, genuine, caring discussion, come to see their relationship or the situation more clearly so that they can deal with it more satisfactorily and, ultimately, find a solution.

Child Therapy

Child (Play) Therapy

Much of a child’s experience and learning is outside of direct, conscious awareness and involves play. Therefore, to help a child overcome a difficult or painful situation, the therapist engages them in a process of guided, creative play, for example, teddy bear therapy. This approach enables the child to better understand themselves or the situation, albeit mostly unconsciously, and thereby learn deal with it more easily and satisfactorily, upon which they are then free to continue along their path of learning and development.

Family Therapy

Family Therapy

When a family encounters a situation that they are having trouble resolving, it usually has to do with their communication or roles and responsibilities. However, in the presence of the therapist who listens, who understands, and whose feedback is informed and fair-minded, the family can better understand their communication and, therefore, one another’s phase of development or changing roles. This enables the family to evolve new ways of communicating and working together to successfully manage the difficulty.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a state of mind, involving deep relaxation and comfort, wherein you are able to safely process experiences, both now and in the past, at a deeper level of awareness. Utilising this special therapeutic state, your therapist can help you overcome trauma, phobias, panic attacks, and other anxiety-related difficulties that may be limiting your life, addiction, and even long-standing, debilitating pain.
